Casino Vilamoura Praça do Casino, Vilamoura Quarteira, Portugal Type: Land Based Status: Open Link to Website The gambling was allowed in the Algarve region, in the 70's, and the grant awarded to Sointal, which opened three casinos – Monte Gordo, Alvor and Vilamoura. Casino de Vilamoura opened in 1973. On August 1, 1991, the new building was opened to Casino de Vilamoura, built expressly for that purpose, with characteristic architecture of the region.
