Circulo Mercantil e Industrial de Castellon was born on February 19, 1897 as a result of the merger of Circulo de Artesanos and the Nuevo Casino. The first Circulo Mercantil seat was on Gonzalez Chermá street, number 109.It was in 1909 when it moved to the majestic building at the Puerta del Sol, between Gasset and Falcó streets.
