Mason & Co sold 7,500 of these the hub-mold "HAT" hot stamp chips in three colors to Harry Hull, c/o The Hat, Redondo Beach, California, between 4/2/1934 and 3/19/1936. It became the "Pine Knot Cafe" in 1939. Pfaender (2004) attributes these chips to a "Top Hat Club". Not listed in Eastman (1998).

Pfaender (2004) also attributes the generic die-cut plain mold "top hat" chips to "The Top Hat Card Room". Not in Eastman (1998). This attribution is in doubt.
