Owned by Aurora and Sylvester Chavez. Raided in December 1948, with illegal punch boards seized. T. R. King sold 1000 of these large crown chips in five colors to S. Chavez, Huron, CA, in 1947.

It has also been speculated that these chips were used at the B & L Smoke House [SH] in Huron. It was raided in November 1948, with 11 people arrested for playing illegal poker. Raided again in December 1948 (the same day as Chavez Place), with punch boards seized (see "Archive").

Note: It is easy to misread this monogram upside down as HS, and confuse it with a similar HS chips sent by T. R. King to the Hideaway Club (Ridgecrest).
