Barriere Groupe. Operations after WW2: 1948-1961: old casino on the river Arve (now the village hall Michel Croz) from 1962-2015: Place Casino de Saussure 1992: no games. In May 1992: formation of SPIC (= Society Participation and Investment Casino of Chamonix) 1993: re-opening games The Casino Barriere de Chamonix was bought on October 2015 by SFC (Societé Française de Casinos ). The name of the casino changed to CASINO CHAMONIX-MONT-BLANC.
