Originally owned by Louie Wai Sun, who was granted a card room license for the club in 1953. It was bought by May C. and Robert G. Jang in 1957, who continued to operate the cardroom.

T. R. King sold 700 of these large crown chips in four colors to the O.K. Cotton Club, 931 G Street, c/o Louie Wai Sun, Fresno, California in 1954 and 1955.
