Originally opened as "Aptos Card Club", at 15 Post Office Drive, and was owned by Curt S. Rettig. In June 1978, it became "Aptos Village Card Parlor" owned by Hitoshi Matsunami, at the same address. In 1984, it changed its name back to "Aptos Card Club", and moved to 5 Post Office Drive. In 1988 it was bought by Yoeng Chang
