A card room license to operate a card room in the Plaza Hotel's old dining room, located in the back of the hotel, was granted to Joe Kondrax in 1967. Also called the "Plaza Card Room".

The attribution of these HHL-mold chips is traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2021), which describes the chips as "attributed". Not in Pfaender (2013).
