| With the closure of the Cercles de Jeux in Paris, the Government decided to open for a period of three years, Clubs de Jeux. Slots, black jack and roulette are not allowed in these. The first Club that opened in April 2018 was the Paris Elysées Club of the Group Tanchant. There are two other licenses awarded to Groupe Raineau (owners of casinos in Beaulieu, Cavalaire and Noiretable in France and casinos in Argentina, Egypt and Costa Rica) and Groupe Barriere, one of the largest French groups. Groupe Raineau will set up its club l'Imperial Club in the Chinese Quarter of Paris, located at the Center Commercial Masséna, 98 Boulevard Masséna.
Another two other licences were granted to Club Circus from Circus belgian gambling group and Club Montmartre ( that substituted Cercle Clichy Montmarte at the same premises). |
