Licensed card room owned by Theodore G. Brown and Robert F. McGlone. The South Bowl bowling alley opened in 1958. A pool hall was added in the early 1960s, and the card room was added around 1971.

The attribution of these L-mold hot stamp chips is traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998).
