Vintage sugar packet table caddy from the Aruba Caribbean, 5 1/4" by 2 1/4" and 1 3/4" high with four little feet on the bottom. One long side marked with an "a" in a stylized starfish. Bottom marked by the manufacturer International Silver Co, "aruba caribbean" and the number "59" in a box which denotes the year of manufacture. This first luxury resort on the island opened in 1959, designed by Morris Lapidus who is also remembered for his work in Miami at the Americana, Eden Roc and Fontainebleau.
