William (Bill) Dilger and William Burke (cousins) co-owned a saloon, tobacco store, and at least two "Dilger and Burke Pool Halls".

The United States Playing Card Co. (Cincinnati OH) sold these chips in three colors to George W. Walker, Los Angeles, California, who ordered the chips for Dilger & Burk, Fellows, California.
