The address, years, and attribution of the large crown chips hot stamp chips is traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998). The order card for the chips is missing from the T. R. King records.

In 1942, the cigar store was reported to be at 402 East Center Street in the Chinatown section of Visalia (see Archive). It was still open in Visalia in 1947, address unknown.

The Chinese character on the chip means "beautiful".
