ChipGuide - A Catalog of Casino Chips and Collectibles
ITEM VIEW: CG152644
56 Old Cowtown Plaza
Red Bluff, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Close: 1980s

Owned by Larry Welch and Gary Cooper.

The attribution of the HHL-mold hot stamp chips is traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2013). Not in Eastman (1998) or Pfaender (2004). C. W. Rice records indicate that these chips were sold to H. L. Stevens [HLS], Seaside, California, which is 300 miles from Red Bluff. These chips are likely mis-attributed to the Hook and Ladder.

Listing (bottom) from the 1983 Red Bluff Yellow Pages, under "Cocktail Lounges".
