| VENETIAN MACAU / SANDS
On 23 December 2002, was made a significant amendment on the concession Galaxy contract ( Galaxy is one of the three concessionaires of Macau gambling) , and with the aproval of the macanese government, the Galaxy Casino signed a sub concession contract with the Venetian Macau and mutually pledge to equally share the 8,8 billion patacas investment in Macau.
The Galaxy would began operating independently from Venetian.
The first casino from Venetian, the Sands Macau opened in May 18, 2004, with 277 gaming tables and 405 slot machines.
Las Vegas Sands Inc. has built a mega casino, the biggest in the world,called Venetian Cotai, which remember Venice, with canals, gôndolas, singing gondoliers, and other baroque Venice icons.The casino was opened on 2007, August 28. In 08.28.2009 Venetian opened the Casino Plaza at Four Seasons Hotel that use the same chips from Venetian.
Sands have exclusive chips .The Venetian use different chips than Sands. |
