Cafe, pool hall, and during the 1940s an open horse race bookmaking operation, which attracted crowds of more than 300 patrons to follow the races. A visiting reporter (1944) noted both a slot machine and active poker games. It was raided November 1944 (see "Archive"). According to The Gaming Table (2017) it was owned by Pete & Andy. It became the "Sun Down Club" (see "Became").

Mason & Co. sold 900 of the hub mold chips in four colors to Peter Serris, Sacramento, CA.
