Norman L. Delmarter sold the cafe to Leslie Morris Munford in 1941. A licensed card room during the 1940s (see "Archive").

The attribution to the Hermitage Cafe in Bakersfield and the 1941 date is traced to Eastman (1998). Not listed in The Gaming Table (2017).

The order card for this chip is missing from the T. R. King records.
