Owned by Hal and Martha G. Whitfield (hence Hal Mar). Also called the "Hal Mar Inn Motel". A card room was added on the floor above the bar in 1966.

T. R. King sold 1500 of these small crown chips in six denominations to Mrs. Whitfield (owner), Hal Mar Motel, 280 High Street, Delano, California, in 1961.

A 2004 photo of the Inn's road sign, which is similar to the hot stamp design on the chips (roadsidepeek.com). A circa 1980 photo of the Inn, in which a sign for the casino is barely visible on the left.
