T. R. King sold 1000 of these large crown chips in four denominations to Eddie Farrell, 3645 Marlborough Street, San Diego, California, on 11/14/1945. The address was Farrell's home residence.

Farrell was charged on 7/20/1946 with operating an illegal card game at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (V. F. W.) Hall at 524 F Street. It is likely that these chips were used there (see "Archive").
