607 2nd Street
Antioch, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1961, Close: 1972

Also called "Jack's Club", "Jack's Bar", and reportedly "Jacks's Cartwheel Club".

T. R. King sold 1000 of the small crown chips in four denominations to Brush & Douglas (Jack's), 607 2nd St., Antioch, California, in 1965. Jack's was a bar at that address until 1972.

Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998) identifies the "D<>B" Small Crown and L-mold chips as being used at the "Hole in the Wall Bar" at this address, but no bar with that name appears to have existed there.

Advertisement detail from 5/30/1965 (Contra Costa Times).
