Was: Fortune Club
15516 South Western Avenue
Gardena, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1950, Close: 1952

Originally owned by Joe Hall who had bought the "F-Fortune Club" the previous year. The newly redecorated card room opened with 15 tables, but closed several months after opening due to a license violation.

The club re-opened in February of 1951 under new management. The new owner filed for bankruptcy, and the club's license was bought by Ernie Primm, who shut the club down, so that he could use the license for his new "Rainbow Club". See Gardena Poker Clubs: A High-Stakes History (2017) Max Votolato.

T. R. King sold more than 22,000 of these small crown chips in five denominations to the Western Club, and they were used (and added on to) by several other clubs after it closed.
