Founded in May 1879 at the home of the former Club União, located on the Avenida Manuel Arriaga, old Praça da Constituição. It became extinct in 1908 and was replaced on the same premises by the Novo Club Restauração ( new). Acted as an important casino of Funchal, on the top floor of the Golden Gate.
