By 1977, the casino's floor space had grown to over 30,000 square feet. Boyd Gaming used it served as a training ground for casino executives because it was a small place.

By August, 2015, all table games were removed.
In March, 2019, Boyd Gaming closed the Eldorado. A year later, Boyd agreed to sell the casino to DeSimone Gaming, owners of the Railroad Pass Casino.
It reopened on April 1, 2021 as The Pass Casino with slots, blackjack, craps, roulette and a sportsbook. |
