They did not play Blackjack; they played Kickapoo 22. If you drew 8 cards without going over 22, they put this marker next to your cards. Once the rotation to the other players was complete, the dealer paid the winning bets and anyone with a "BIG TEX" button was paid a 'Bonus' ($25 chip), plus won the hand automatically.

Natural Texan Marker

They did not play Blackjack-they played Kickapoo 22. When you got a 2 and any 10 count card, it was called a Natural Texan. They put one of these markers beside your cards. On the next hand, if you didn't get another Natural Texan, they picked it up. If you got 3 Natural Texans in a row they gave you an extra $100. If you got 4 Natural Texans in a row they gave you an extra $500
