The Colony Casino in the 1950s (formerly the Elite Saloon in the 1800s, the Arch Bar in the 1930s, and the California Club in the 1940s) was originally on North Virginia Street at the base of the Reno Arch, before Harolds Club took over the site and the Colony Casino moved a block east, into the old railroad depot building at North Center Street.
