The Cercle Hippique & Sportif has transferred its gambling and reading-rooms to the magnificent " Frolics" 30 Rue de Grammont ( 1922). Frolics opened at 30 Rue de Grammont at the corner of Boulevard des Capucins in early May 1920. Ir was one of the many dancings , that sprung up after the end of First World War.Provided dinners, suppers, drinks and dancing. Le Cercle Hippique et Sportif transferred its gambing and reading rooms to this new location.It was operated by an English Syndicate, and targeted an international clientele namely Americans and British. The venue faltered in 1923, and has reopened as a cabaret. |
