Bar and licensed card room. Paul Mayer and Gordon Gray were granted a license to operate a card room at the club in October 1945. Charles Hudson took over the card room license in 1948 (see "Archive").

T. R. King sold 3000 of these large crown chips in five colors to Paul Mayer and Gordon Gray on 10/3/1945. No address. Mayer lived in Los Angeles, and these chips may were likely picked up from the T. R. King headquarters in Los Angeles.
