Stockton, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1945, Close: 1953

Philippine owned tavern and pool hall (adjacent to the "Manila Inn") in the heart of the "Little Manila" neighborhood in Stockton, on the same block as the ”Bataan Club”. The club was raided three times in 1945 with the club operator, Dan Castracion, and dozens of other visitors arrested for illegal gambling. It was raided several times in 1946 with Jose Garcia and Sotero Bacaporo arrested on separate occasions as operators of illegal lotteries (see "Archive").

The attribution of the DiSq-mold chips and dates of operation is traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998). The chips have also been attributed to the "Manila Club" at 931 Glenwood Street, Delano, CA.

Listing (top) from the 1947 Stockton Yellow Pages, under "Cocktail Lounges" (Golden Nugget Library).
