T. R. King sold more than 6000 of these large crown chips in at least six denominations and colors to Jim Contratto, 2800 Firestone Blvd., South Gate, California, in 1944 and 1945. This was the address of "The Trianon Ballroom Cafe", previously called "Topsy's", before 1943.

Contratto also owned the "Nevada Turf Club", which opened in Reno in 1946, and these chips may have also been used there.
