Originally owned by Charles R. Lewelling (CRL), and bought by James Negranti in 1961. Previously it was the location of "Hy's Club", which also had a licensed card room.

Taylor & Co. (Chicago, IL) sold 1010 of the T-mold chips in three colors to the Morro Club in 1953. T. R. King (Los Angeles, CA) shipped 500 of the small crown chips in three colors to the club in 1954 and 1958.
