ChipGuide - A Catalog of Casino Chips and Collectibles
San Francisco, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1922

The attribution of the plain mold chips is traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2004), and the ZigZag mold chips to Pfaender (2013).

The United States Playing Card Company (USPC Co.) sold the "YC" die cut plain mold chips in six colors to the California Notion & Toy Co., San Francisco, California, on 11/16/1922. The latter was a distributor, who may have possibly ordered these chips for a San Francisco area Yacht Club.
