Originally owned by Thomas Carroll and Kenneth Ambrose. Briefly became the "Sherman Card Room" (1976) before becoming the "Three Kings Card Room".

In 1975 Ambrose was convicted of "solicitation to commit murder". Earlier that year he attempted to hire a hitman (actually an undercover police officer) to kill Carroll, ostensibly for financial issues related to the card room (see "Archive").
