Owned by Harry "The Horse" Jaffee. It was across the street from the "Lucky Lady Card Room", located at 4792 El Cajon.

The attributions of the HHR-mold and TH&C-mold hot stamp chips with a horsehead facing left are traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2004). Not in Eastman (1998). These chips have been attributed elsewhere, including the Blue Line Club in North Dakota. The San Diego attribution has been questioned.
