| CCGTCC LM-1343-69, He was born December 7, 1939, husband of Janice (Weaver) Heron of Palm Desert, father to Joan (Heron) Fiala and her husband, Mark Fiala of Brea, CA. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 until 1965. He was a third degree Mason. Mike graduated from Long Beach State with a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and a Master's Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific. He was an educator, coach, and athletic director for 32 years with the Desert Sands Unified School District until his retirement in 2003. His retirement years found him collecting gaming chips as a member of the Casino Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club. |
