Originally owned by Henry Nunes, and managed by Danny Nunes. Danny was arrested in 1940 at the club for making an illegal payoff to a pinball machine game winner. An active bookmaking operation was reported there in 1946. Fred and Jack Giacomo took over ownership of the club in 1953. The club closed in 1957 and became the "Gold Nugget Club".
