Bar and licensed card room, bought by by Carl L. and Melba E. Barnes in 1962. Carl was granted a card room license for the bar in 1962. It became "Betty's Place" in 1977 (see "Archive").

According to The Gaming Table (2017), the Portland Card Co. sold these Square in Circle mold hot stamp chips in five colors/denominations to the Elkhorn Tavern, Box 35, Orick, California in 1962.
