Owned by Hyman Smith, who previously owned the "Sportsmen's Club" at 161 Marine Place. David Seitz may have been a silent partner. The club offered pan and other card games.

n 1962 Smith was convicted of bribery, put on probation, and the club was closed by the city. Later that year he was found dead in his closed club, seated at a table, after overdosing on pills (see "Archive" for details).
