A gas station was constructed at 5635 Watt in 1955 and it became a Norwalk Service Station around 1956. This Norwalk station was owned by Raymond Dominic Addessa and was known as Ray's Norwalk Service. Addessa sold the place in 1960 to the Rieder family and it became Rieder's Norwalk Service. The Rieder's operated a station at 5635 Watt Ave. into the 1980's but by 1968 it was no longer a Norwalk service station.
