Five table card room originally owned by Dean Hemphill and William Baciagalupi. Hemphill owned "Hemphill's Lounge" at the same address before the card room opened. Sold to William (Billy) Long in 1989. It closed soon after Long's death in 2005. Also called "Hemphill's Lounge and Card Room".
The attribution of the Diamond and Mermaid-mold hot stamp chips is traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998).
