T. R. King sold 3,000 of these large crown chips in five colors to E. A. Wilken, Route 6, Modesto, California, in 1949. In 1948, E. A. Wilken requested a license to operate card tables in a building on Commercial Way in Modesto, between H and I Streets. (See Archive)

Previously attributed to "Wilkie's Cafe" at 11 South Sacramento, in Lodi, which was owned by Lauren E. Wilkinson, and closed in 1946.
