Also called the "B & L Smoke House" and the "Smoke House Cafe and Bar". Raided in 1948, with eleven arrested, including the manager/co-owner, Samuel Lawrence Stout, for playing draw poker in an unlicensed establishment. R. Baker was reported in 1954 to run poker games in the establishment (see "Archive").
