ChipGuide - A Catalog of Casino Chips and Collectibles
894 Guadalupe Street
Guadalupe, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1968, Close: 1970s

Andrew (Andy) Y. and Ofelia J. Castellanos, the owners of the hotel, were granted a license to operate a card room in the hotel in 1968 (see "Archive").

The attribution of these H&C hot stamp chips to "Hotel Cardroom" is traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2004). Not in Eastman (1998). Most surviving chips are very worn.

Listing (3rd from top) from the 1969 Santa Maria/Guadalupe Yellow Pages, under "Hotels".
