T. R. King sold 700 of these large crown chips in four colors to F. A. Boyd, 1425 Blackstone, Fresno, California, in 1949. The address was the location of the "Colonial Inn" nightclub. In 1949, it was reported that the nightclub regularly hosted illegal gambling, specializing in dice games (see "Archive").
