Owned by Robert W. Vollbrecht from 1933 into the early 1960s. Originally located at 2037 Fresno Street, it moved to 1257 Broadway around 1950. Was first raided for an illegal poker game in 1934. A reporter visiting in 1943 counted three poker tables as being active (see "Archive").
