Licensed card room originally owned by George B. Samuel (with partners) in the 1940s and 1950s. He was arrested in 1952 for bookmaking at the club. Managed by Harold Peterson from the 1960s to the early 1980s. It became the "Midas Card Club" (see "Became").
T. R. King sold at least 12,100 of the small crown chips in fourteen colors and denominations to the Santa Fe Club, Harold Peterson, 3992 San Pablo Street, Emeryville, California, between 1966 and 1981.
