An illegal club originally located at 128 San Diego Street in the early 1930s. By 1935, it had moved down the street to 207 San Diego. It was reportedly owned by Burton I. Pierce in the early 1930s, and later by Jack McMahon. The club had a Chinese lottery table, roulette, craps, and black jack, along with slot machines. It burned down on 1/3/1939 (see "Archive").

H. E. Mason & Co. shipped 940 of the hub mold chips in five colors/denominations to Chas. [Charles] Sly, Acme Club, Box 153, El Cerrito, California, on 7/23/1935.

About Illegal Casinos - by their nature, information about illegal, or unlicensed, casinos is hard to find and difficult to verify. Information presented on the ChipGuide about these casinos is provided as the result of our best efforts but may not be 100% accurate. Even if the information is accurate, gamblers move around and may take their equipment with them; items used in one casino may have also been used in others. Please send verified information about illegal casinos to the ChipGuide so that we may improve our accuracy.
