Originally owned by W. S. Lee and located at 151 East J Street. In 1940, Lee was identified by the California Attorney General as running a bookie operation from within the Royal Club (see "Archive"). The club was later operated by J. T. Baron.
T. R. King sold more than 2000 of the "LW" large crown chips in five colors to W. S. Lee between 1941 and 1946 at 151 East J Street. T. R King also sold more than 5000 of the "JTB" chips in seven colors to J. T. Baron in 1945, at the same address.
