Owned by Clarence R. Fleharty Jr. Originally located at 1204 19th Street, it moved to 1917 M Street, around 1949. Fleharty sold the business and the rights to the chips to Mrs. Estelle Neimeyer in 1956.

T. R. King sold 4600 of these large crown chips in six colors to Clarence Fleharty, Smoke Shop, 1204 19th Street, Bakersfield, California, between 1945 and 1952. Originally hot stamped with wide outlined letters, a new die was made with solid letters in late 1945.
