T. R. King shipped several thousand of these chips with many monogram variations between 1953 and 1988. Most were shipped to B. J. Westlund, a co-founder and vice-president of the Apple Valley Country Club, and John M Sodd, a liquor store owner and club member. The country club opened in 1950, and added a 18 hole golf course in 1954.
