Also called "Tex's Bar, Pool, and Cards". Located on Old Highway 99. Per J. Eric Freedner, the bar that had a card table in the back and used wooden nickels instead of chips for the games. The bar/liquor store itself is still open but the card games are long since gone.

One of California's rarest "chips" - 1 of only 3 known to have survived. Note the wear on the nickel from its use in games rather than redemption for drinks. Its use confirmed by the bartender (daughter of former owner).
